With Clint Selvage Fabric No: 2 Indigofera show once again that they know exactly what is needed to make a pair of good jeans. The simplicity of design with five pockets, a simply designed stitching on the back pockets and a small logo is exactly what got the jeans to hit it big. The Kirk fit looks back to the early 20century with a wider fit and details such as cinchback and exposed rivets on the back pockets, details that were common on jeans when they were used as work clothes during the 20-30s.
Indigofera has focus on quality with these jeans, the denim is woven by one of Japan's best weavers who work on old short-looms machines, handicrafts and a lot of soul to maintain the quality and the deep indigo color that was once the standard in denim in the old days, a quality that is initially quite flat but that over time will come to life and wear in and reflect the wearer. A unique ability that is one of the reasons that jeans become more personal, the more you use them.
