A pair of jeans in raw denim should be used as a second skin.
The main rule:
Jeans that isn't dirty need not to be washed.
After you've bought your jeans we recommend that you use the jeans for 210 days (not in a row, unless you really want to) before washing them. The longer you wait, and the more you use them, the nicer and more personal wear marks will appear.
If the jeans smell a bit iffy, hang them outside for a while. However, if it's damp and cold - the smell will sadly stick to the jeans. If you live in a cold climate it's better to put the trousers on top of a radiator or in an airing cupboard.
When it is time to wash the jeans, wring them inside out and wash them at maximum 40 degrees Celsius. Use non-bleaching detergent. Take out the jeans directly when the machine stops, and pull the seams a bit. Let the jeans drip dry! Do not use a tumble dryer.
Indigo is more often than not used to colour denim. Indigo bleeds. So be careful when in contact with anything in a paler color than your jeans.
